Your savings, below the line.

Plimsoll is a USDG savings vault on Robinhood Chain. You decide how much risk is too much. Jev, an AI model from TypeSafe AI, lends your USDG out without crossing that line, and you keep 90% of the interest.

Deposits open after an outside security audit. Rates shown are examples.

01 · How it works

Four steps. One line you set.

The idea comes from ships. A Plimsoll line on the hull shows how heavy a ship can safely be loaded. Plimsoll puts that line on your money.

  1. 01

    Deposit USDG

A stablecoin meant to always be worth $1. Putting it in and taking it out cost nothing extra.

  2. 02

    Set your limits

A risk level, the most in any one market, a size floor and the cash kept aside. Type them in plain words.

  3. 03

    Jev picks, code checks

Jev chooses where the money goes. Separate code checks every move, and anything past a limit is thrown out.

  4. 04

    Keep 90%

Borrowers pay interest back into the vault. We keep 10% of it. The other 90% is yours.

Example numbers only. Real rates move every day and nobody can promise them. The range also leaves out the bad cases listed under Risks, like a hack.

03 · Compare

Why not chase the top rate?

Because the highest rate usually carries the most risk. Here are the same example markets used three ways.

ApproachRate after cutRisk scoreMarketsInterest for the risk

Example markets, after our 10% cut. The risk score is a rough measure of how much things could swing. The last column is rate divided by risk, so higher is better. How the score works.

04 · Jev

Jev picks. Code checks.

Jev is an AI model from TypeSafe AI, built to choose between options and say how sure it is. It decides how deposits are split across lending markets.

It never touches your limits. Plain code checks every plan against them, and the AI can’t change that code. If nothing fits, the money stays as cash.

Breaks a limit. Thrown out, nothing moves.

An example with made-up numbers. Until the vault opens, the feed runs on example markets and no money moves.

05 · Risks

What could go wrong.

Anything that pays interest has risk. Here is ours, in plain words. More detail in the docs.

  1. 01

    A bug in the code

The vault is software, and software can have mistakes that lose money. Deposits only open after an outside firm reviews it, and the first deposits will be capped low.

  2. 02

    The collateral crashes

Borrowers back their loans with things like ETH or tokenized stocks. If those drop fast, a lending market can lose money. The size floor and the cap per market limit how much one bad market can do.

  3. 03

    USDG loses its peg

USDG is meant to always be worth $1. If it ever isn’t, everything in the vault is worth less. We can’t fix that one, so only put in money you can afford to have at risk.

  4. 04

    Jev makes a bad call

The AI can pick a market that goes wrong later. It can only pick inside your limits, and plain code checks those before anything moves.

  5. 05

    Everyone withdraws at once

Money that’s lent out takes a while to come back. The cash you keep aside is what lets normal withdrawals still go through right away.

06 · On the record

Where things stand.

Each line flips when it’s real, and not before. The vault contract address will only ever be posted here and in the docs.

07 · Questions

Straight answers.

The quick ones. The rest are in the docs.

Can I deposit today?

Not yet. Deposits open once an outside security firm has audited the vault code. Until then the rates and markets on this site are examples.

Can the AI ignore my limits?

No. Plain code checks your limits before any money moves, and the AI can’t change that code. If nothing fits, the money stays as cash.

How do you make money?

We keep 10% of the interest your deposit earns. Putting money in and taking it out is free, apart from the normal network fee in ETH.

Is there a token?

It launches on Pons, the token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Its contract address shows in the bar at the top of every page once it’s live. The token is separate from the vault: holding it isn’t a deposit and doesn’t earn the vault’s interest.

Who is Jev?

An AI model made by TypeSafe AI. It picks between options and says how sure it is, which is what you want when moving money. We’re an independent project that uses their model, not part of TypeSafe AI.

Which network?

Robinhood Chain, network number 4663. Gas is paid in ETH. The live figures near the top of this page come straight from its public RPC.
